WORSHIP
Cedar Point Students is for students 6th through 12th grade. We gather every Wednesday night, doors open at 6:30PM and our student experience starts at 7:00PM. For students that choose to participate, small groups start at 8:00PM.
We want Cedar Point Students to not only be a place where your students can come and have a fun time, but to also be a place that’s intentional about introducing them to a real, raw, and authentic relationship with Jesus.
We believe this will ultimately change their stories and empower them to be and do all the God has created them to do. We do this by setting an atmosphere of fun with games and social time and then moving into a time of intentional worship and a biblical message.
We finish off the night with small groups, where students are encouraged to go deeper in discovering their relationship with Jesus amongst their peers.

Before, during, and after the student experience, students are given an opportunity to connect with other students and with older committed leaders who are dedicated to seeing students grow closer to Jesus. Whether it is someone’s first time or someone who comes every week, we want to know them and help them know others.

We want to reach students where they are and teach them how to follow Jesus. Our messages will always teach about Jesus and give someone the opportunity to start a relationship with him. To get a sense for our teaching style check out our YouTube channel cedarpoint.students.

Our hope is the music at Cedar Point Students would captivate hearts and prepare students to encounter Jesus every time they are here. As a result of that, we play familiar songs that are heard on the radio, songs written by other church teams, and songs that others may be singing.

Small groups take place after our student experience each week from 8:00-8:30PM and are available for every student that chooses to participate. In these groups, students spend time with other students and discuss a chapter of the Bible. They discuss what verse or verses from that chapter stood out to them as well as how they are going to apply that verse in their life.
OUR STUDENTS LEADER
Jesse Jones
Jesse Jones joined the Cedar Point family in December of 2022. He played basketball at Peru State College, when God called him to Youth Ministry. He attended bible school at Youth America College to study Youth Ministry and Christian Education. Jesse’s calling is to help build the next generations of the church by discipling and mentoring our young people. He’s passionate about seeing generations give their hearts to Jesus and to be the church!
